From Devastation to a New Beginning

For more than 40 years, our local business has proudly served the community of Tampa, helping generations of families furnish their homes with comfort, style, and quality.

Over the decades, customers have come to us for everything from their first apartment mattress to complete home furnishings, and many of those customers eventually returned years later with their children and grandchildren. Being part of those life moments is something we have always treasured.

Our journey hasn’t always been at the same address, but our mission has always remained the same:

provide high-quality mattresses and furniture while treating every customer like family.

13 Years at Our Adamo Drive Location

For 13 wonderful years, our showroom was located on Adamo Drive next to IKEA.

That location became a second home to us. We met thousands of incredible customers there—many who became longtime friends and loyal supporters of our business. It was a place filled with laughter, busy weekends, families testing mattresses, and neighbors stopping in to say hello.

Then everything changed.

The Night Hurricane Milton Changed Everything

In the early morning hours of October 9, 2024, during Hurricane Milton, we received a phone call that no business owner ever wants to get.

Police informed us that the roof of our store had collapsed, and water was pouring into the building like a waterfall.

Our team rushed to the scene, hoping the damage wouldn’t be as bad as it sounded.

But when we arrived, our hearts sank.

Cars were already slowing down and pulling over as people drove by taking videos and photos of the building. We stood there in disbelief—jaw clenched, hearts heavy, and completely devastated.

In that moment, we knew we had no choice but to stop operations.

After more than four decades serving the Tampa community, everything we had built seemed to be gone overnight.

A New Beginning in New Tampa

But sometimes the hardest moments lead to new opportunities.

Months later, we found a new home at 6222 Commerce Palms Drive in the vibrant New Tampa area of Tampa.

Today, our showroom at Mattress & Furniture Super Center is huge, bright, and filled with an incredible selection of name-brand mattresses and furniture ready for immediate delivery.

Even more meaningful to us is that so many of our longtime customers followed us to our new location.

Your loyalty, encouragement, and support during such a difficult transition meant the world to our entire team.

One Year Later — Stronger Than Ever!!!

We have now been open in our new location for about a year, and the support from the community has been overwhelming.

Not only have familiar faces continued to shop with us, but we have also had the privilege of meeting so many new customers discovering our store for the first time.
